Returns and Exchange Policy
The customer must carefully verify their pet’s measurements and ensure they select the appropriate device size (rigid splints and joint protectors) according to the provided measurement guide. Our products are not custom devices, but rather standard-sized devices based on measurement ranges.
C&D BIONICS S.A.S will not process exchanges or returns if the customer has selected an incorrect size as a result of inadequate measurement or a misinterpretation of the size guide. It is the customer’s responsibility to correctly take reference measurements before making a purchase.
In cases where measurements for custom devices are taken virtually, the guardian must send photographic records of each measurement indicated in the service order, following the provided instructions. If the measurements are not sent as specified, C&D BIONICS S.A.S will not be responsible for the correct functioning of the device or for additional costs arising from shipping or adjustments.
The manufacturing of custom-made devices will begin once a fifty percent (50%) deposit of the total product value has been made, which will not be refundable once the manufacturing process has started. For standard-sized products, shipping will only occur after full payment is received. Estimated delivery times are three (3) to five (5) business days for custom splints and joint protectors, five (5) to seven (7) business days for wheelchairs, and fifteen (15) to twenty (20) business days for prosthetics, which may vary depending on production capacity and material availability.
Shipping costs, both national and international, will be entirely borne by the customer. In the unfortunate event of the patient’s demise during the manufacturing process of a custom device, the initial deposit will not be refunded, as it is a personalized and exclusive product.
Warranty Policy
Devices manufactured by C&D BIONICS S.A.S, such as rigid splints and joint protectors, come with a two (2) month warranty; prosthetics and wheelchairs come with a one (1) year warranty, starting from the product reception date, covering manufacturing defects related to workmanship and materials. For custom devices, the patient’s owner is responsible for timely reporting any issues related to device fit, discomfort, or improper adjustments.
Necessary adjustments for custom devices reported within the warranty period will be free of charge. However, shipping costs associated with these adjustments must be borne by the customer.
For any return request or warranty claim, the product must be sent in its original packaging, in optimal condition, and without alterations other than those resulting from the reported defect. Once received, C&D BIONICS S.A.S. will conduct the respective technical evaluation to determine if warranty coverage applies, reserving the right to accept or reject said request according to the established terms. In all cases, shipping costs associated with the process must be borne by the customer.
The warranty does not cover damages caused by bites, improper use of the device, abuse or excessive wear of non-slip soles, normal wear and tear of foams, straps or components, or modifications made by third parties.
Any adjustment or modification required as a result of physical changes in the patient, such as weight loss or gain or anatomical alterations, will incur an additional cost. Device adaptation times are individual and depend on continuous use, follow-up, and care provided by the owner.
